Internship at Places

Work: Identity, Branding & UX Design
Year: 2020

During 15th of June until the 15th of July 2020, I had an internship at Places, a co-working company and start-up based in Stockholm. Here I got to work with Jonny, Sorosh and Love to develop their Brand Design and pitch a new design to their
website based on User Experience. Places are enabling creatives and entrepreneurs to work from other places than the actual home, including cafes and restaurants.
Designwise it was important to keep the homely and chill mood. The goal was to combine the aesthetics of analog photography whilst keeping a young and playful vibe.
We had 2 rounds where I, for example, pitched marks, moodboards, wordmarks, typographic systems and color palettes. Places later on decided to come up with their own color palette, which is the one I have used on the posters. I’m thankful that I got the opportunity to work with Places. Although we never got the time to meet in person due to covid-19, I had a blast working with them and I learned a lot about branding and the start-up phase of a company.
